Brown Residence - Grande Dunes

TruDesign was selected to complete a site and landscape design for the Brown’s in the Grande Dunes development in Myrtle Beach, SC. The front entry horseshow drive is highlighted by a water fountain piece set in a lush landscape. The paved drives lead you through a portal to the garage tucked behind the primary residence. The outdoor room adjacent to the garage of the South side of the house comfortable outdoor terrace protected from the sun with plenty of shade from the overhead pergola. There is also a special waterfall and garden that provides a quiet space to relax and can be viewed from the kitchen.The unique site allowed for a terracing effect and infinity edge pool looking over the Intercostal Waterway on the back side of the home. The unique placement of the home allowed for a great outdoor kitchen, spa, lounge areas and views from the residence looking down the Waterway in both directions. The cascading stairways, on both sides of the pool, lead you to the lower paved terrace deck with gardens and active space for the Owner. There is also a beautifully design dock space that will allow the client access to the waterway.
Johnson Residence

TruDesign was selected to complete a site, landscape, and architectural design for a backyard oasis. The outdoor kitchen, pool house, and guest house needed to blend well with the existing Johnson Residence. The owner was looking for a place to entertain guest and provide a place for the children to enjoy. The use of native stone, landscape, and "Low Country" character make this project an enoyable experience for all.
Private Ocean Front Residence

TruDesign was selected to complete a set of documents that included the site, landscape, and architectural design for an ocean front residence in Myrtle Beach. Project highlights include the pervious paver driveway, sustainable landscape components, view corridors to the beach from the back porches, and incredible pool deck and pool layout. The magnificent residence was due in large part to the specialty custom build contractor that was used for the construction of the residence. The attention to detail from the front entry stair to the rear porches highlight the skill of the contractor.
Langston Residence

TruDesign was selected to complete a site and landscape design for the Langston Residence in Myrtle Beach, SC. This project is located on the Intercoastal Waterway. The design includes a stunning
multi-tier pool the is the highlight of the backyard. Other interesting componenets include a dock, beach on the waterway, and pervious paver driveway and fire pit over looking the waterway.
Robey Residence
Location: Pawleys Island, SC

Completion Date: 2016
TruDesign Studio solved an existing flooding issue as well as an innovative approach to a pervious/impervious ratio situation for a client in Pawleys Island. We developed a sustainable and pervious driveway that met the design criteria of the County. This unique design has been well accepted by the client and won an award for its design and function.
Robertson Residence

TruDesign was selected to complete a site and landscape design for the Robertson Residence in North Myrtle Beach, SC. This great piece of property is located on the Intrscoastal Waterway. The design includes a 3 tiered retaining wall that spans the width of the property. Other intersting componenets include a dock, infinity edge pool, and pool house. Sustainable components of the project include a driveway of the residence incorporates the use of pervious pavers and the use of a water harvesting system.
Boulineau Residence
Location: Cherry Grove, SC

While I was working with tag architecure, I was assigned to complete a site and landscape design for Frank Boulineau in Cherry Grove, SC. This complex site sits on the back marshes of Cherry Grove. This project scope included the landscape design, pool and pool deck, sea wall, and drive way. We used a series of sustainable components throughout the site including percious pavers and indigenos plant material.
