Our Design Philosophy
Inspired by contemporary design mixed with the practical nature of everyday use, TRUDESIGN creates, designs, and builds landscape projects for their clients. Their approach to design is to interpret their client's vision while always maintaining a high level of communication with consciousness to budget.
TRUDESIGN has the ability to find the harmony between indoor and outdoor milieu, creating a balance between the natural and built environment. TRUDESIGN serves as a resource, a catalyst, and an advocate for environmental sustainability. We serve as a connection between design ideas and their practical implementation.
TRUDESIGN has a diverse portfolio that encompasses a large variety of projects and project types. They utilize textures and a sophisticated material palette to create a beautiful end product for our clients. Together with our solid design principles, innovative design approach, and emphasis on communication, we create spaces that fulfill their clients' expectations.

+ Professional Experience
+ My professional experiences have given me a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience while working within all functions and levels of business relating to business, architecture and land planning.
+ After working at an architectural firm for 10 years, my responsibly shifted to more of the business aspect of running my own successful architecture practice.
+ Formed TruDesign Studio back in 2008 as a way to ‘moon light’ while an employee for a TAG architecture.
+ TruDesign Studio allowed for me to express my design approach that was different from the approach of TAG.
+ TruDesign Studio experienced steady growth through a weak economy and is currently involved in one of the largest projects on the Southeast Coast.
+ Project Experience
+ My experience ranges from large multi-million dollar projects to small residential landscape designs. I have the experience dealing with all governing codes, ordinances, and regulations. I also specialize in Community Appearance Board and HOA approvals.
+ My recent project experience includes:
Variety of residential designs including the Grande Dunes, Black Creek, TPC Myrle Beach
100M Hilton – 16th Ave project currently under construction in Myrtle Beach.
50M Hilton – Ocean 22 project in Myrtle Beach
30M Student Recreation and Convocation Center at a local University
90M airport terminal expansion project for Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)

+ Undergraduate Education: Purdue University - Bachelor Degree Landscape Architecture
+ Graduate Education: Coastal Carolina University - Master in Business Administration (MBA)
I am also actively involved in the community in which he resides. He created the ‘Perrin’s Path Committee’ which designates a 1.2 mile "pedestrian only" trail that is part of the East Coast Greenway. This particular segment of trail in Myrtle Beach is part of the main trail that runs from Canada to the Florida Keys.
